Alice Kitt is Principal Lecturer for Clinical Skills and Simulation-Based Education in the School of Nursing and Midwifery. A registered midwife and experienced clinical educator, she provides strategic leadership for clinical skills, simulation-based education and simulated practice learning. Her work includes curriculum development, immersive and digitally enabled simulation, interprofessional education, faculty development and the creation of psychologically safe, evidence-informed learning experiences.
Before joining the 黑料网, Alice worked as a midwife in Leeds, Nepal and London and held clinical education, simulation specialist and simulation leadership roles in higher education and across London NHS trusts. She has extensive experience of designing and delivering multidisciplinary learning for students and healthcare professionals.
Alice's interests centre on simulation, human factors, patient safety, teamworking and educational leadership.

Research Interests
Alice's research focuses on simulation-based education, human factors and patient safety. Her MA research used phenomenography to explore how simulation facilitators conceptualise human factors and the implications for curriculum design and faculty development. She is principal investigator for an interprofessional simulation co-design research project involving students from nursing, midwifery, medicine and allied health professions. She is also interested in immersive and digitally enabled learning, psychological safety, debriefing, and how simulation can support workforce readiness and safer clinical practice.
